NICOLE R. SYDOW, MD, FACSWith special interest in the treatment of aortic valve disease, Dr. Sydow has diverse experience including coronary artery bypass grafting, minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, aortic surgery and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures.

Dr. Sydow is a board-certified thoracic surgeon who joined the Phoenix Cardiac Surgery in 2016. She earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Arizona.

A Clinical Assistant Professor for Banner University Medical Center since 2016, Dr. Sydow’s clinical research interests include extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and adult cardiac surgery outcomes.

Dr. Sydow completed her cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona, and general surgery residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. She earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
